CSB stands for “community supported bakery,” and is essentially a subscription for baked goods. The model is based on CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) which began as a way to provide farmers with cash flow when it was required - before and during planting and harvesting. The concept is the same in the bakery, except it's available year-round!
By making an up-front payment at the beginning of the session, the customer endows the baker with the funds necessary to buy ingredients, packaging, etc when they are needed. You also establish a reliable relationship and confirmed demand, removing the guesswork from the equation and allowing Abilicious to focus fully on the quality of our goods.
